  • I thought these birds looked like they were in strange positions for a reason! It was so that I could make fun of them by turning them into a comic.

Ok, so it's been a while! But thanks to coolwaffles and jodizzle I felt bad about forsaking my xanga dairy diary

So camp is over with but I'm not going to say it was awesome like I have all those other years, even though it kinda was awesome... i have a few pictures from Aletheia right now that I'll put up.

Yes, I know they all have me in them... but, after all.... isn't this MY xanga?

  • Laptop or Desktop?

Which should I get? a laptop? or desktop? They both cost about the same. But of course the laptop is more portable. However the desktop has twice as much space... both hold a good amount of space though.

    I need to know tonight!

Living By the Book: The Art and Science of Reading the Bible

Well I spose I'll update on how well I, personally, spent my time. I'm pretty sure that the computer and TV take up about 25% of the wasted time genre. But most of it is just down right laziness. I don't do enough mind exercises to keep it "in shape."
I'm reading a book right now about studying the bible and it's been really helpful in getting a better understanding on how to study the bible on my own and not just get my info from the sermons on Sunday. It used the illustration of a detective finding all the facts and analysing them and we should kinda do the same thing with the bible.

Anyway, it's an encouraging book and I reccomend the book if anybody wants some tips or reccomendations on how to do an in depth study of a passage.

  • check point chicky

A'ight, welcome to highway 101 check point chicky. Here's how things are going to go down: you do stuff everyday that you've come to think of as a part of life, some good, some not so important.

Well at this check point we check to see if what we do is actually beneficiary to our lives and our walk with God.
As we go through the next couple of weeks lets make a list of things we do or mental list on what we do. Then afterwards we will go through the list of things and ask God which things are in the way of our spiritual growth. Doing so without personal bias.

If you cannot decide on whether or not you should get rid of it. Then meditate on it. The bible says to pray without ceasing. Perhaps you'll read in your bible one day and there the answer will be.

Anyway, you don't have to do it. It's just something I thought would be good to try out.

And yeah, I'm a greenhorn at it too. So we'll be doing this thing together.

Let me know how you fair.

  • So how many of you guys ever wonder about how there are so many different denominations?

Kind of a shame isn't it? I mean, we were all meant to be one church.
